Short version: Manul Dojo keeps your lessons, katas, grades and settings on your phone. We do not have an account system, we do not run a server for the app, and we do not sell or share your data.

What the app stores, and where

Keeping and deleting your data

Notifications

Manul Dojo asks permission to send notifications. They are scheduled on your phone by the app itself: when you leave a lesson, when a lesson or a break ends, before your training times, a few reminders through the day, and on Sunday night when your week is marked. No notification content is sent to us, and we do not use notifications for advertising. You can switch them off at any time in iPhone Settings > Notifications > Manul Dojo; the app keeps working without them.

This website

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles your request (including your IP address) to send you the pages. The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser also contacts Google when you open them. We do not run analytics or advertising on the website and we do not set cookies of our own.

The waitlist on this website

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address and the plan you said you would pick. We use them only to tell you when Manul Dojo launches and to understand which plan people want. The form is handled by a third-party form service, Formspree, which stores the submission for us. You can ask us to delete your entry at any time by writing to the address below.

Children

Manul Dojo is meant for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If a future version adds anything that sends data off your phone (for example a mentor that answers back), this page will say so before that version ships, and the app will ask you first.
